Investigating fundamental particles and their interactions, at the very edge of physical understanding. Our group works with data from the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN.
High Performance Computing
Big science requires big computing. Processing and storing data created in LHC proton collisions is challenging and requires high performant computing facilities. We take part by hosting Cedar, one of Canada's most powerful supercomputers and a major CERN data centre at SFU.
Education
